Diving Solutions - Scuba Diving at divingsolutions.com
Welcome to Diving Solutions! Our home page is designed to tell you about how scuba diving Florida reefs and the Bahamas are some of the most spectacular reefs in the United States. We also wish to educate you about what features you should look for in a scuba diving charter liveaboards and what you can expect aboard a drift diving boat.
What to expect from Diving Solutions Our scuba diving boats are painted to look like Yachts. We see the boats as tools of the scuba diving vacations trade and they are outfitted exactly for the job they do. We do NOT however, think that they need to look like they are work boats. When you go out on a scuba diving boat it should look like a pleasure boat; after all, you are there for pleasure. The hull is NAVY blue (as all boat hulls should be) and the cabin and bridge are painted white so they look clean, bright and expensive.
We clean the boats thoroughly so you will enjoy being on them. The white is always white and the deck is always rinsed before every scuba diving trip. The marine toilet is cleaned and the only thing you will smell is cleaning solvents. There is toilet paper and a garbage can just as if you were visiting a hotel.
Scuba Diving Trips are scheduled for 4 hours so that we don't have to rush to get in for the next trip. This means we can go where we want to go-- even if it is a little further away. We schedule an hour between scuba diving trips so that we have plenty of time to clean the boats and restock the food before the next trip is ready to board. This means the boat will be just as clean and well stocked on the last trip of the day as it was on the first trip of the day.
Palm Beach Scuba Diving presents you with the most marine life you can find on any reef system, anywhere in the world.
In Palm Beach, scuba diving is performed from boats and drift diving is chosen over anchor diving because of the currents. The waters of the gulfstream come closer to land at the palm beaches then anywhere else in the United States, making I the most diverse marine life ecosystem.
On your scuba dive you can expect to see large schools of fish, turtles, Eels, and sting rays. It is not uncommon to have 50 to 70 foot of visibility and the water is warm varies from 72 in winter to 85 in the summer months.
While Scuba Diving you may see Florida Spiny Lobsters, which are delicious eating when they are in season. You may have the opportunity to swim next to a Great Southern Ray or to touch a nurse shark as it rests on the bottom.
The best part of liveaboard diving the Palm Beaches is the beautiful colors of the soft corals and sponges as you watch the gorgonians and sea fans flutter in the gentle currents. If you look closely at the coral and the sponges you can pick out all the tiny marine life such as the arrow crabs, banded coral shrimp, or you may come upon cleaning stations.
The reefs are shallow, typically 60 feet or less, so you will have 30 to 40 minutes at each scuba dive site and still remain well within your safety guidelines.
About the Staff Our crew are real people just like you, who volunteer their time to work aboard the boats each week. Each scuba diver is dedicated to promoting awareness of the underwater environment and exploring the remarkable scuba diving opportunities in this region of the United States.
